King County 'Proud Boys' Member Charged in Connection to DC Riot
According to news in Washington State, "A King County self-proclaimed member of the Proud Boys [Ethan Norean, aka Rufio Panman] was arrested at his home in [Auburn, WA] Wednesday and charged in federal court with obstructing or impeding an official proceeding and aiding and abetting in connection to the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol building. He is facing four federal charges including violent entry to Capitol grounds, entering a restricted building, injury against government property, and obstructing a government proceeding.
Obstructing or impeding an official proceeding carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and aiding and abetting carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
Days before the attack on the U.S. Capitol, Nordean is said to have taken to social media, “planning in advance to organize a group that would attempt to overwhelm police barricades” Charging docs also read that during a podcast, he said "we are in a war."
