One-Time Pad Encryption
When used properly, the One-Time Pad is a very secure means of encryption. It is the only manual (pencil and paper) encryption that we recommend for secure communications.
In most cases we will be using a computer based encryption (i.e. AES, PGP) but as a back-up or for use when computers will not be available the one-time pad should be considered.
Instruction on using the one-time pad can be found in the following guide:
The one-time pad concept can also be used as a method of securely splitting a combination or password between two or more people.
