Government Security Awareness Courses

Government employees and military personnel are required to complete annual security awareness training courses. Some of the government / military courses are also available to the general public.

By completing these courses you will develop a basic security awareness that will aid you in protecting yourself against potential threats.

Security Awareness Hub

This website provides frequently-assigned courses, including mandatory annual training, to DoD and other U.S. Government and defense industry personnel who do not require transcripts to fulfill training requirements for their specialty. You do not need an account or any registration or sign-in information to take a Security Awareness Hub course.

TEEX Cybersecurity Courses

The web-based courses are designed to ensure that the privacy, reliability, and integrity of the information systems that power the global economy remain intact and secure. The web-based courses are offered through three discipline-specific tracks: general, non-technical computer users; technical IT professionals; and business managers and professionals.

FedVTE

If you are a federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial government employee, a federal contractor, or a US military veteran, you can create a FedVTE account and access all courses. A limited number of courses are available publicly. Public course user progress and completions are not tracked or stored by the FedVTE system. Those who qualify for a FedVTE login may wish to take these courses after registering and logging-on in order for course completions to become part of their course history.
